Prologue

Liam and Karen Payne

Liam Payne. The famous singer, a member of the world-renowned band called One Direction. He was in his room in a luxury hotel and watched a video again and again. A fan made a video to him about his family. That was at least the tenth time when he replayed it. 

"Liam, are you okay?" Zayn asked when he appeared in the room. "You look so sad, dude"

"He is homesick" Niall answered.

"I miss her so much" Liam pointed to the screen. There was a picture of him and his mom. 

The boys around Liam looked at each other.

"Um.. you should go home for a week or something..." Harry advised. 

"Yeah, it's summer, we have some freetime" Louis said. It was true, after their tour they got some leisure time.

"That's a good idea" Liam looked up from his computer's screen. "Maybe we all should travel home for a while" 

All of them liked this idea, soon they started to organise their travel.

So that's why Liam was in Wolverhampton. He was very happy with his family, but it was a vicious cycle - in his hometown he missed his band. However, he really enjoyed being home; and his family was glad he went back to them. 

Liam was at home since a few day, when his sisters started to behave strangely. Liam knew they had a secret but he didn't ask them about that. 

"Hey Liam, don't you wanna go to the garden?" Nicola asked.

"Okay.." Liam got up from the couch and went outside. 

"Ta-daa" Ruth yelled when the boy got there. 

A little white puppy ran to Liam's leg. 

"He is a samoyed. You have to give him a name!" Nicola walked to her siblings. 

"Well.. I have no idea.." Liam told her while he was playing with his new doggie. 

Liam decided to take the puppy for a walk (luckily his sisters gave him a leash, too). He walked down on a lonely road in a calm afternoon, there weren't much people and most of them just walked away next to him - they didn't want autograph or pictures with him. He needed this kind of silent life after the interesting and loud tour. He saw a detached house in the street. It had a lovely garden which had two parts - one with beautiful flowers and a fountain, and one with a colorful swing and teeter. "Will I have a house like this when I'm a family man?" - he thought. He stared the house very intensive that he bumped into a girl. 

"Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't see you. Are you hurt?" Liam apologized while he was looking at the brunette girl. She had big, dark blue eyes.
"No, I'm okay." she said. There were some puzzlement in that big blue eyes. 
"Really?" Liam asked again.
"Yeah... I just..." the girl started to explain but her voice trailed off and a tear rolled down on her face. "I don't know who I am" she whispered.
"What?" Liam was shocked - he saw this girl was really scared.
"I don't know what happened... I woke up in a place... it was like a garage.. and my head hurts" she explained.
"Are you amnesiac?" Liam whispered. 
"I think" She whiped her eyes. 
"Do you remember anything?" Liam asked and the girl shook her head. "Your name?" 
She looked at him puzzled and she nearly cried. 
"Okay then, I'll take you to a hospital" Liam decided and called a cab. 

When they arrived to the hospital, Liam asked the taxi driver to look after his dog and he went into the building with the girl. 
Soon a doctor examined her and stated the partial amnesia. 
"She will regain her memories" the doctor told Liam. "But I don't know when. But slowly she will remember everything."
"Thank you" Liam went away with the bandaged head girl. 
"Thank you for everything" the girl thanked. She has already calmed down. But she still didn't know what to do. 
"So... you don't remember who's your mother, father..?" He asked gently.
"No."
"And you don't know where do you live... right?" 
The girl nodded. 
"Then you should come with me, you can stay in my family's house while we'll find your family, okay?"
"Thank you so much! Um.. what is your name?" 
"Liam. Liam Payne" he smiled.
